I'm having some troubles in ftp'ing with the said setup. I setup a server with this Virtual Hosting and have a Public IP, and doesn't connect on my internal local network. When I use a client PC which has a private IP and connects to the internet via a Firewall and Proxy Server (The public IP of the server is on the same subnet of that PureFTPd Server), I could not copy & paste a file to the FTP Server. The error returned by WS_FTP (my FTP Client Software): "I won't open a connection to 192.168.x.x (only to 203.177.b.b), Failed "port". The 203.177.b.b is the IP of the Firewall and Proxy Server, while 192.168.x.x is the private IP of the client PC. But if I use a client PC with a Public IP, I don't encounter any problem, and such FTP'ing is always successful. Hope you can give me some enlightenment on this matter.
That might be a problem with your router, i.e. your router does not support looping back into your local network.
