Yes, I tried so many times Nope, no special character. It was like user root could create the database and the table but could not upload .sql dump. I tried using a diferent mysql user (created especially for this) and then it seemed to work but later ther where exec() error on everything that tried to be done to the file system. I have now unfortunately, due to lack of time, done a Apachefriends installaton and manually set everyting. Thats life sometimes Anyway, is there a distro or Virtualbox image planned? As I can't get it to work I cant really help. I will try later installing In Virtualbox. Would you be interested in an image? /jon
