Unbuntu 5.10 ISP Server setup. SASLAUTH problems

    When i get to the point
    Code:
    Now we have to edit /etc/default/saslauthd in order to activate saslauthd. 
    The file doesnt exist :confused:

    Anyone any ideas where i have gone wrong ??

    wiped and started again.

    same problem same place :confused:

    am gonna go try fedora and see how it goes.

    would prefer ubuntu if anyone has any ideas tho

    Did you install the sasl packages, as described onhttp://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_ubuntu_5.10_p4 ?

    apt-get install postfix postfix-tls libsasl2 sasl2-bin  libsasl2-modules libdb3-util procmail
