    Hello,

Has someone succeeded in using SIEVE with the Thunderbird addon?

I am unable to connect and don't find any documentation to use it.

Managesieve is installed on my server, I reconfigured all services by re-running an update of ispconfig and replied yes when asked to reconfigure services.

I am on Debian 10 and opened the TCP port 4190 on both IPV4 and V6.
    ISPConfig version: 3.2.4.

Also, it looks like rules created by an installed Roundcub are not applied. roundcube.sieve is created and filled but rules are not applied.

    What did I do wrong?

Can you connect to managesieved? If so, what do the logs show when you try to change a filter with a managesieved client?

In fact there was a mistake on my tests, it works well with a Roundcube, issue is only with Thunderbird.

When I connect using the Thunderbird addon, I have nothing in the log.
With Roundcube I only have the login then the log out of the user, nothing about filter but it works.

That's what you should see, a log entry for managesieve login and another for logout/disconnect. Maybe you have a firewall issue preventing thunderbird from connecting (on the server or on the client side). You could test with telnet or something as well, and try testing from a different external site to help narrow where the problem is.
