    Hi all,

Is there a way that I can setup webdav to share a file with time and download limits? I would like to do this through thunderbird, if possible.

I would like to control the emailing of sensitive files by office staff using dropbox like services.

Would there be a how-to on this?

    Thanks

You should check out owncloud if you seek for a self hosted dropbox alternative. I dont know if this specific function exists in owncloud core, but there are also many plugins available so there is a good chance to find there what you need.

    Awesome, Great thanks Till.

I have been using Owncloud already, but I have to go into owncloud's interface to use the limits features on the files that get emailed from owncloud.

Was just wondering if I "add-on" the sabredav/webdav that owncloud uses to thunderbird. Currently, I can filelink thunderbird into owncloud's sabredav/webdav, but I have no control over the download limits.

Thanks again, will look into it more.
