I installed ISPConfig and set up a couple of new users. I installed webmail, but I can only log in using the original user I set up when I installed debian. Any ideas?

Can you retrieve mail from the new users with your normal email client?
Are the new users in your /etc/passwd file?
Which errors did you get in your mail log?

I sent emails to all of the users, I cannot retrieve mail using a client, and Maildir is selected in management>server>settings>email. Any ideas?

    You can remove Postfix:
    Code:
    apt-get remove postfix
    and install it again:
    Code:
    apt-get install postfix
    Maybe this works...
