    Hi.

I have to implement SSL for IMAP, because many ISPs blocks port 25 and I have problem with roaming users.

I would like to ask first to prevent issues later.

    My server name: ns0.test.com
I have A records mail, ftp, etc. which points to the same ip.

I would like to use mail.test.com for client email program configuration (Thunderbird). I have been using this configuration since I started with ISPConfig.

What would be the best way to implement certificate? Additional IPs are no problem.

On what domain I should create certificate. I would like to use free certificate from startcom.org.

    I don't currently use certificate.

    Thanks for help.

    progress

So far, I created new site (subdomain) mail.test.com.
I also created certificate for mail.test.com.

I still have to test if everything will work.

    imap ssl problem

    Hi.

So I have loaded ssl certificate from startcom.org on my mail.test.com domain.

If I go to https://mail.test.com - everything is OK and certificate is recognized.

However my IMAP still has the autogenerated. How I can use the same certificate for IMAP?

    Thanks
