    Hi, Everyone!

I just got started with Linux, and I was curious - do you have any recommendations for a good text editor to use for Linux coding? Is there a certain few that are easier to start with and others that are more comprehensive as I become more comfortable with Linux?

Thank you for your time, and I hope that you have a great day!

I use nano inside linux cli. For windows desktop I am using Notepad++. I am not using linux desktop frequently but there is a software almost similar to Notepad++ that can be used.

I use nano myself for editing simple files, Atom for coding, and Sublime Text on Windows for simple text editing.

Thank you for all of the recommendations - Crazy as this sounds, I think I'll try all of them and see what I like.

Thank you again for your time!

Trying them all is the best way to get to know them deeper and at the end choose what is most suitable for yourself, so good luck @GrahamGreen.
