Can someone tell me how to partition a hard disk with ysat. I have two hard drives 40 gig. One has Windows xp, windows 2003 and fedora core 5 on it. I want to install suse and solaris on the other hard drive but it looks like Fedor is using part of the second hard drive. Even if it is how can I used ysat or parted to I can install Suse. Thanks Dee
yast is the wrong tool for this. I'd use something like Partition Magic, or have a look here: http://www.howtoforge.com/windows_linux_dual_boot
I have downloaded parted, but the page you sent me to show and/or tells you how to do an empty partitions. Therefore this is not helping me, when I view my second partition this ways it shows it as not being empty, so I need to get at least 10 gig of free space to install Suse. Thanks Dee
