Hi all ..

I translated ispconfig to czech language .. and here is small guide how you can translate ispconfig to your language too .. sorry for my english ..

I hope it somebody helps ..

I wanted use utf-8 but it was not work properly .. so I used my national charset encoding .. I translated to czech language so I used cz as my lang and iso-8859-2 charset encoding.

The ISPConfig update manager installs packages with the .pkg file extension. These files are simple .zip files, they are named .pkg to prevent users from unpacking them before the upload.

The .zip files must be build with the option to not store path's (not even relative path's)!

Inside the .pkg package is a file named "package.ins". This text file contains the instructions for the installer.

I just bought a new RapidSSL Certificate,

I have to enter the CSR....which i'm assuming comes from /root/ispconfig/httpd/conf/ssl.crt/ssl.crt

please correct me if I'm wrong,

Then I enter the name and all that.

Last time I tried to submit it gave me the error CSR parse failure.

Possibly I have the wrong contact information entered on the SSL providers site....any suggestions? Should I regenerate the certificate?

I want this to be my main ispconfig cert...the one that's used to...

Hi I have installed ISPconfig and must say think it is a fantastic application , thankyou so much to the developers.

I was wondering if it is possible to configure the ISPconfig firewall so that you can limit ssh access to certain IP addresses?

With my other linux server I have an explicit REJECT in /etc/sysconfig/iptables for port 22 and then just add an ACCEPT in for the source IP addresses I want to accept and it works well.

I guess you all know by now that I love graphs

I found a new tool: http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~dws/software/mailgraph/
its called mailgraph and is supposed to display mail statistics like sent/received/rejected/spam/virus and bounced...

unfortunately it will not really show spam for me and it shows a little bit too few of my virus mails ;-(

first of all it is set to monitor the syslog file but I changed that to the /var/log/mail.log.ispconfigsave which seemed a better...

For quite awhile I could receive email on my mobile phone but I couldn't get the outgoing mail with ISPConfig 2 configuration to work period.

I'm running the following:

ISPConfig 2
Debian
Postfix
Courier
RoundCube Webmail

To fix the "Mobile Cell Phone Mail" outgoing problem that plagued me with the ISPConfig 2 setup simply follow the instructions listed below.

1. Edit /etc/postfix/master.cf

After installing ISPConfig, sometimes we want to change from http to https mode, or as you wish from https to http mode.

With this small instruction you can read how you can do this!
Realise that you have to be careful, do not screw your system!

Here we go:

1) Copy file httpd.conf_https from the Tarball to filefolder /root/ispconfig/httpd/conf

piping email to a script

Hi,
is there someone who could explain me how to pass an email to a script when it arrives?
I know how to do it with procmail but don't know about dropmail (which is the mailfilter used in ISPConfig).
I've tried to open the custom rules box end entering a line as 'to /path/to/the/script' but this doesn't work and the email gets sent into the inbox as always.

Any hints?

if you wish to install by yourself RoundCube 0.6 on an IspConfig 2 server, after you downloaded, unzipped and installed RoundCube (or upgraded from version < 0.6) remember to perform the next modifications on the file config/main.inc.php file:

I have backup'ed up and sucessfully re-created servers with this scrips or like skipt a few times now

Note on restore:
The most difficult part is to sort out the /etc/passwd and /etc/group after - basically the proscess is as follow
pwunconv to get the passwords in the passwd file and same with grpunconv
then merge the old file by copy-paste or remove the system users and groups from the source and append it. Carefull with group users.

Been struggling with getting asp.net working with mono in ISPConfig on my Ubuntu Edgy box for a couple of days now. Just got it working, so thought i'd best post the configs here for others in need (and probably myself again when I screw everything up).

This mini howto is specifically for CentOS 5.x and RHEL 5.x but other OS'es have a similar ability.

PROBLEM
Your boot partition is getting full of old unused Linux kernels from past kernel updates.
To see what percentage of your /boot partition is currently in use run the "df -h" command:
