Hello everyone. A bit of context. I am new to Linux and working on getting into an entry level IT position. Eventually want to get into Cybersecurity. I've been told that Kali Linux is the way to go as there are many useful tools. My question is, do you have any reccomendations on how to get started with Kali Linux? I appreciate any help with this. Thanks!
i'd suggest starting with maybe ubuntu or mint linux. kali is a good distro, and definitely geared towards the cybersecurity/hacking community. but it's not really for beginners. i'd suggest you get used to linux on something a bit more user friendly and beginner orientated and then look at kali later on once you've got a handle on linux and doing everything from the cli.
